Handset beeps and cuts the call off
The handset battery needs to be re-charged. Place handset on base station and charge for 15 hours.

The handset battery may need replacing.

Clean the charging
contacts on the handset and the base station.
When the Talk button is pressed the In-use light does not light or flash
The handset battery needs to be re-charged. Place handset on base station and charge for 15 hours.

The handset battery may need replacing.

Clean the charging contacts on the handset and the base station.
Interference heard in the earpiece
Site the base station away from other electrical products and metal objects.

Fully extend the aerials on the base and handset.

Press the CH button on the handset during the call. This will change the channel..
Ringer not working
Check that the RINGER ON/OFF switch on the side of the handset is switched to ON..
During a call, interference is heard in the earpiece
Make certain that the Handset and Base Station aerials are fully extended.

Select another channel by pressing the CH button.

The Base Station should not be located near other electrical equipment. Try moving the Base Station to a different location.

You may be using the Handset too far from the Base Station. Move closer to the Base Station.

Make certain that the Handset battery is fully charged. Place the Handset on the Base Station to charge and leave for 12 hours..
Cuts off during a call
The Handset battery needs to be charged. Place the Handset on the Base Station and leave to charge for 12 hours.The Handset battery may be faulty and need replacing. Rechargeable batteries eventually need to be replaced.

Does the Charging Light on the Base Station come on when the Handset is put on charge? If not, try cleaning the charging contacts on the Handset and Base Station. Also, make certain that the Handset battery pack is plugged into it?s socket behind the Handset battery cover.

Both Base and Handset aerials should be fully extended when on a call.

Are you moving too far from the Base Station and going out of range. Try moving closer to the Base Station..
Phone does not ring
There should be two cables connected to the Base Station. The power adaptor and the line cord should be connected. The power adaptor is not just for charging the handset. It must remain plugged in for the phone to work

Make sure that you use the Line Cord Cable that came with the product.

Have you turned the ringer off?.
The Charging Light on the Base Station does not come on when the Handset is put on charge
Is the Mains Power Adaptor plugged into a mains wall socket and into the Base Station. The adaptor should be left connected and is not just used for charging.

Try cleaning the charging contacts on the Handset and Base Station.
Cannot make or receive calls
Check that there is power to the Base Station and the mains Power Adaptor is plugged in. The Power Adaptor is not just for charging the Handset, it must remain plugged in for normal operation of the phone.

Make sure that you have connected the Telephone Line Cord to the BT/Network Providers socket..
Interference from the earpiece when on a call
Aerials on the base station and handset must be fully extended.

Make certain that the Handset batteries are fully charged. Place the Handset on the Base Station to charge and leave for 12 hours.

The Base Station should not be located near other electrical equipment. Try moving the Base Station to a different location. Avoid TV?s and Computers.

The best range results are achieved when the Base Station is located as high as possible. First floor landing area is ideal..

Place the Handset on the base station as if to charge it. A beep should be heard confirming that the handset is now registered to the base. If the beep is heard the handset should work.

You may be using the handset too far away from the Base Station. Use the Handset within the usual range of the Base Station..
