| Callers unable to leave messages |
Is the answering machine turned on. Press and hold the Answer On/Off button to turn the machine on and off.
Make certain that you have selected OGM 1 as the outgoing message. If OGM 2 has been selected the machine will announce only and not let callers leave messages. Press and release the Answer On/Off button to switch between OGM 1 and OGM 2.
Is the power adaptor plugged in and turned on?
Memory may be full. You need to delete stored messages. Remove the base back-up battery from the bottom of the base station. Unplug the power adaptor from the base station. Wait 10 minutes. Reconnect the power adaptor and re-fit the base back-up battery.

| How to record OGM 1 (Outgoing Message 1) |
Press and release the Answer On/Off button until the machine says "Answering machine on. Announcement One" The Message light should be on. Press and hold the OGM button on the base unit until you hear a beep and the message light flashes. Speak your outgoing message into the microphone on the base unit. Press STOP when you have finished speaking your message.

| Answering Machine will not answer calls |
