| How to record an Out Going Message (OGM) |
| On the handset - Press "R" and then "1". The display shows OGM REC. After a few seconds you here a beep and the display flashes. Now speak your message into the microphone and press "0" to stop recording. Press "R" to go back to standby mode. |

R button not accessing the Answering Machine functions |
The internal microprocessor has locked up. Perform a reset by removing a handset battery and disconnecting the power adaptor from the base station. Leave for 15 minutes and reconnect in any order.

| Unable to turn Answering Machine on |
Make certain that you have recorded an OGM (out going message). You will not be able to turn the Answering Machine on until you have recorded an OGM.

| Cannot turn on the Answering Machine |
You must first record an Out Going Message (OGM) before you can turn the Answering Machine on.

| How to turn on the Answering Machine |
On the handset - Press "R" and then "5". You must have already recorded an Out Going Message (OGM) before you can turn the Answering Machine on.
